Update on current work
While there’s been a slight plateau building Great Lakes Online Counseling over the past weeks, there has been some positive change: Rachel, the practice’s first clinician, can start seeing clients!
The good news is that we are officially good to go and we can now open up Rachel’s calendar! She can now start booking clients. (Jen)
Now, all that needs to be done is for Rachel to put in her availability, and then clients can click on her available slots and book sessions with her.
Joe and Jen continue to brainstorm how to install a scheduling Headway widget on the website to keep clients on the website, rather than sending them through to Headway’s website and losing potential clients who click elsewhere.
I’m increasingly getting uncomfortable with how much we’re putting in that then just sends people to Headway [who] may end up seeing other Headway [therapists] … We want to use them for the billing, insurance, and marketing, but if we can’t have it look like Great Lakes Online Counseling, I think long-term, then that’s not something we’d stick with. Adding a “meet the team” tab
One of the next objectives Joe and Jen are working on is to create a “meet the team” tab on the website, which will show:
- Joe as the founder
- Jen as the coordinator
- Rachel as the first clinician, with others to follow as hires continue
I don’t plan to see clients, but I think having me on there, having Rachel on there, and having you on there then builds that team feeling. (Joe Sanok)
Upcoming tasks and objectives
For Joe, his main objective for the upcoming weeks is to network, find more clients, and build a referral system to bring in new clients.
He’s going to focus on talking to attorneys and mediators, since some of their ideal clients are those coming out of divorces.
