Repurposing Content

Q&A was part of Next Level Practice, the most supportive community for therapists starting a private practice. In this video, Joe answers the question based on how to repurpose content.

Question

Justin: I was just interviewed for three podcasts, which was great. Now I want to share it with my network. How do I repurpose this content?

Answer

Joe: I would say that when you’re interviewed on a podcast, or when you somehow get some media, you can have an ‘In the Media’ section on your website. Then, you can link to those podcasts if you want. If you can get the download from the person that interviewed you, from the audio, that can be really helpful. You could then create slides for sections of it; you could chop it up into your own videos – assuming that the podcaster is okay with that. I would also just email those 35 people you have on your email list, post it on LinkedIn, post it on your Facebook business page – that’s going to just build your credibility more and more.
