I hope you have had some fun time with your family and your friends today is the second day of practice so.
On the second day of practice is joe gave to me to website questions and on some money mindset.
Alright so today we’re talking websites switch to questions every single client asks themselves when they land in your website the first is.
Am i in the right place and so if someone is looking for a counselor helps with something specific and usually people do have something pretty specific.
Even if it’s just i’m sad there’s usually some new ones to it that depression looks different for different people,
i have to have relationship problems in their marriage to them that feels like a very specific need,
and so the first question any potential client asked himself is and my in the right place.
So you wanna make sure right away the know your specialty is they know that you can help them.
So for example now on this counseling we’re pretty broad practice we have some specialties within the practice is use me but,
we really make sure that those specialties are known and so were continually looking at our home page and metalinwisconsin.com,
as a how do we more clearly articulate we have angry kids frustrated parents and distant couples and what does that look like how does that look for individuals we have a lot of different things that people do so for example we have a psychologist.
[2:29] Psychologist that does custody evaluations we have someone that works with really young kids so you know under the age of seven all the way down to the infants with attachment.
Set a really difficult job for us to make sure people very quickly know there in the right place.
So that’s the first thing i do is make sure that you really analyze how you talk about your specialties and then secondly the,
only other question i ask themselves is ten this counselor help me the first one is me in the right place and can this counselor help me.
So maybe training so you talk about in may be talking about you the outcomes that you get.
It’s a really simple formula that you can use is i help blank who are dealing with and then insert the pain.
To answer the outcome so what that would look like again is i help blanks of with the help.
Who is dealing with blank and i would be your pain to blank so for example i hope parents who are getting too many phone calls from the principal,
to come up with a plan to help their son or daughter to have better behavior at school.
[3:34] So what you’re doing is really saying here’s what’s happening so these parents are getting.
[3:40] Call from the school and you can can go farther than that but when calls from the school coming you can i know what’s going on behavior issues to,
things going on and what do you give them a step by step plan to help improve behavior in the school environment.
[3:55] So when you can use that formula who you help,
what’s the pain and what’s the outcome that’s a really quick way of answering those questions and the biggest thing right after that is,
when you answer that question those questions make sure they can schedule within one second,
this is the area they see so many people screw up on their websites they don’t have their phone number in the header,
they don’t have is that any pages everywhere you want to be that in any spot on any page pretty much someone can find out how to contact you or they know they can scroll to the very top and see the giant numbers,
otherwise people are gonna hunt around and then they’re gonna lose steam the best time to have them schedule is right when they have that,
