Going in-network with insurance can be tough. Filing all of the right paperwork is time-consuming and tedious, and even after you’re done, it can take months to get credentialed and start seeing clients.

That’s why Alma makes it easy and financially rewarding to accept insurance. When you join their insurance program, you can get credentialed within 45 days, and access enhanced reimbursement rates with major payers. They also handle all of the paperwork, from eligibility checks to claims submissions, and guarantee payment within two weeks of each appointment.

Once you’ve joined Alma’s insurance program, you can see clients in your state of licensure regardless of where you’re working from.

A best practice tip for ranking higher

Note to listener: Google algorithms and technology develop frequently, so these tips are highly recommended at the time of this podcast! However, if you are listening to this episode later on, do some research as to the latest tips for your time.

Some of the basic SEO and link-building techniques that private practice owners should make use of are to know their ideal audience and client, and use prime keywords that they would use.

Go through the format of the top three or four highest-ranking articles to see their format, and adopt something similar in yours. Use prime keywords that Google recommends, and then write from the heart.

[Then] just answer and create useful content. It doesn’t have to be long or super short. It just has to answer the user’s question and really what the user needs to know about postpartum depression, [for example]. (Farzad Rashidi)

When to hire help for link-building

There is a lot of malpractice happening within the SEO community. It’s very easy to purchase links from marketplaces or websites, but you might not know the full extent of what’s beneath the surface when you do.

What’s important to realize is that there is no silver bullet.

The good news is that once you do figure out one or two strategies that work, normally it’s relatively easy to scale it up going forward, because then you can double down on what is working and ignore stuff that [isn’t]. (Farzad Rashidi)

For example, be a guest on podcasts! It allows you to:

  • Gain great exposure
  • Build relationships with other people and other businesses
  • Have your website be included in the links of a new website page and other social media platforms
